Legionella Prevention & Control

Risk assessment and prevention plans, under Portuguese Decree-Law 52/2018.

The Legionella bacterium exists in natural environments, and the use of water in human activities — artificial systems — encourages its growth. Portuguese Decree-Law 52/2018 establishes the Legionnaires' disease prevention and control regime, requiring organisations to assess risk and draw up prevention plans.

QTA performs the risk assessment and develops prevention and control plans for industrial facilities, including analytical monitoring and corrective measures.
